CFES Managerial Leadership is a function in which I was able to contribute from the beginning of the school year. At the beginning of this specific school year being prepared for the unknown and the ability to mentally and physically pivot has been the mind set. Due to COVID19 we as a administration had the job of executing the most safety protocols in school history. Prior to students and teachers entering the building I was responsible to posting safety signs throughout the entire school. While conducting safety checks in the building we understood students had to physically eat lunch in an unconventional manner by sitting six feet apart and face in the same direction. I took upon myself to create decals in which indicates were students are supposed to sit. My mentor principal understood my vision and took it a step further and had me create stickers for the designingated seats.
One of my duties was to read and present updates of cleaning protocols for staff and student safety at monthly staff faculty meetings. An example of one of my presentations is available here and an additional presentation is here.
